When you use the contact form, the website collects your name, email address, subject, and message. This information is used only to review and respond to your enquiry and to continue any correspondence you request.

I need this information to reply to you. If you contact me about working together, I process it because it may be necessary to discuss a contract. For other genuine enquiries, replying is a legitimate business interest.

Form submissions are delivered using Resend, which processes the information as an email service provider. Ordinary enquiries are normally deleted within 12 months of the last exchange, unless they need to be kept longer for an ongoing relationship or legal obligation.

Questions submitted to the portfolio assistant, together with the recent conversation needed to answer them, are sent to OpenAI to generate a response. OpenAI is instructed not to store these API responses. Do not include confidential or sensitive personal information in a question.

Conversation history is stored in your browser's session storage so it remains available while you use the site. It is removed when you reset the conversation or end the browser session. Your IP address is also used briefly in server memory to enforce a five-minute request limit. This information is needed to provide the assistant and protect it from misuse.

Information is shared only with providers needed to operate the website: the hosting and infrastructure provider, Resend for contact-form delivery, and OpenAI for assistant responses. These providers may handle information in other countries. When data protection law requires it, approved transfer arrangements or contracts are used to protect that information.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or when necessary to deal with a legal claim. It is not sold or used for advertising.

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses browser session storage for assistant conversation history and temporary navigation state. Session storage remains on your device and is normally cleared when the browser tab or session is closed.
